Andrew is a widely recognized expert in energy management, with a particular focus on renewable energy. He has started and run his own successful independent consulting business which helped clients to develop strategic energy management solutions, and has a strong track record in establishing partnerships and alliances which have delivered significant results. As General Manager for Global Energy at Owens Corning, Andrew was responsible for the design and implementation of a strategic energy management program and a $2.5 Billion joint venture with a major energy services provider. His work was recognized as a benchmark by the Alliance to Save Energy and helped result in Owens Corning being named a "Cool Company" by the Packard Foundation. Andrew is a founding member and senior officer of Hudson Valley Energy Options, a not-for-profit organization aimed at promoting awareness and use of renewable energy technologies in New York State.
Tom is a licensed engineer in New York, Michigan and Ohio, and he has previously held numerous management positions in the private and public sectors including Vice President, Director, Partner, Owner and Project Manager. He has designed permitted, constructed and managed many dozens of civil and environmental projects for private, public and regulatory clients. He is familiar with State and Federal environmental regulations, with experience in evaluations, design, report writing, management, and public participation, and has particular strength in wastewater treatment, liquid bulk storage, solid waste (landfill and recycling), and environmental assessments and audits.
Tom has experience in solid waste operations with emphasis on transferring and transportation, mass burn incineration, landfill, landfill gas recovery, recycling, and composting.
Steve Hoyt is a specialist in biogas project development with experience in management, engineering design, sales, and testing of biogas and other farm technology projects both in the US and overseas. He has particular experience in developing a market in the US for German designed biogas systems and wide contacts in the farming and renewable energy fields in the northeast and nationally. Mr. Hoyt holds a patent on a type of anaerobic digestion process and also has developed several unique devices for rural farmers which have gained wide acceptance in West Africa
Joe is a graduate of Cornell University, with a double major in Applied Economics and Management, and Animal Sciences. Joe is heavily involved in his family's farm which includes a successful vegetable growing business serving wholesale and retail customers in Eastern NY. Joe has a strong background and interest in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) and is actively involved in the development of the marketplace for value added services and systems that leverage biogas installations. Joe also has an in depth background in small business risk management and continuation planning through his affiliation with Northwestern Mutual and is an active member of the Cornell University Entrepreneurial Council as well as a member of the Saratoga county Farm Bureau Board of Directors
Dan has 35 years experience in the financial services industry, with a strong marketing and sales focus on the small businesses sector. Dan began his career with International Harvester’s Credit Corporation back in 1973 and he has worked with the agricultural sector to develop insurance and financial programs. Dan obtained his B.A. from SUNY Albany and he holds both a Certified Life Underwriter Designation and a Chartered Financial Consultant Designation.
